I've neither been to Aceh, nor to Honshu

I know nobody there but I feel like I knew

To learn that many had died and despaired

my heart sanked

To see the cars, ships, houses were swept 

I felt sweat...

I dreamt alot about tsunami

They seemed so real that I could feel

I scared to death when I opened my eyes

I cried and thanked GOD that I hadn't said goodbye 

But....

We cannot be certain how safe we are

Just stay close to HIM to feel relief

We plan so much in making life better

But we forgot that death is getting nearer

Oh GOD... thank you my loved ones and I are still alive

To witness the signs YOU brought to us

so that we DO Awake in the good night's sleeps

and be thankful to YOU in the next morning....
